China Energy Valley Starts Construction


On February 24th, China Energy Valley Project officially started construction in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. The project is based on the cooperation between China Huaneng Group Co. Ltd. and Nanjing People's Government, aiming to jointly forge a high-quality ecosphere in the energy sector via project construction and industrial cluster. LI Fumin, Vice President of China Huaneng, attended the project launching ceremony.

China Energy Valley Project is located at the Qilin Area of Nanjing City, with a construction area of 1.6 million square meters. It consists of multiple areas, such as international standard services innovation area, industrial ecology area, central business district and industry pioneering area. The project bears the goal of constructing an industrial cluster of the energy sector' s whole industry chain. It will establish an industry ecosphere with the integration of technological research and development, capital incubation, demonstrative application, and mechanism innovation, and will be forged as 'a place of origin for energy technology, an innovation park of energy production and research, a demonstration area of energy application, and a future low-carbon smart city' with international influence.
