On June 19, Huaneng North Shangdu New Energy Company completed a green power transaction with the 14th Summer Davos Forum venue with a total power of 1 million kilowatt hours, marking the fact the Summer Davos Forum will achieve a 100% green power supply for the first time.

The 14th Summer Davos Forum will be held in Tianjin from June 27th to 29th. With advantages such as scale and stability, China Huaneng has become the exclusive power supplier for this forum, providing all green power services. The green electricity for this transaction comes from Huaneng North Shangdu New Energy Base. The transaction volume equivalent to saving 320 tonnes of standard coal and reducing 800 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

Since the launch of the national green electricity trading in September 2021, China Huaneng has accumulated over 10 billion kilowatt hours of green electricity trading, contributing to the promotion of social green transformation and serving the national "dual carbon" strategic goals.
