On January 9th, Wen Shugang, Chairman of China Huaneng Group, met with Marty Flanagan, Chairman Emeritus of US-based Invesco, at the headquarters of China Huaneng, and the two sides exchanged views on further deepening cooperation. Wang Yihua, Chief Financial Officer of China Huaneng, also attended the meeting.

Wen Shugang welcomed Marty Flanagan and his delegation, and briefed on China Huaneng's production, business operation and green energy transition. He said that China Huaneng and Invesco share a long-standing and solid cooperative relationship. It is hoped that on the basis of current cooperation, the two sides could deepen and expand cooperation and exchanges, so as to achieve common development.

Marty Flanagan applauded China Huaneng's development achievements. He said that China Huaneng has maintained a good cooperative relationship with Invesco, with the joint venture companies achieving remarkable results, which served as a model of cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises. It is hoped that Invesco and China Huaneng could further strengthen exchanges, and expand and deepen the cooperation, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
