Huaneng Held the 2024 Renewable Energy Project Construction Promotion Conference


On February 26th, Wen Shugang, Chairman of China Huaneng Group, announced at the 2024 renewable energy project construction promotion conference that China Huaneng started and resumed construction work on renewable energy projects with a total scale of nearly 34 GW. Deng Jianling, President of China Huaneng Group, also spoke at the promotion conference.

China Huaneng has started or resumed construction work on 222 renewable energy projects. These projects focus on the large-scale development of energy bases, highlight the layout of “Three Lines and One Development Belt”, and carry out four development models, namely, the integration of wind, solar, coal-fired power and energy storage in northern China, the smart energy diversification of wind power and nuclear power in the eastern coasts, the integration of wind, solar and hydropower in southwest China, and multi-scenario integration of wind, solar, energy load and energy storage in the central and eastern China.
