On March 23rd, Wen Shugang, Chairman of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., met with Patrick Pouyanne, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies, and his delegation in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening cooperation. Li Xiangliang, Vice President of China Huaneng, also attended the meeting.

Before the meeting, Patrick Pouyanne and his delegation visited the China Huaneng exhibition hall to learn more about China Huaneng's industrial layout of green development and the latest achievements in scientific and technological innovation. He was impressed by China Huaneng's rapid development of renewable energy and the cutting-edge energy technology.

Wen Shugang extended a warm welcome to Patrick Pouyanne and his delegation. He noted that China Huaneng vigorously promotes green and low-carbon transition, actively builds three major pillars of renewable energy, hydropower and nuclear power, and accelerates the transformation of energy technology.
